Following her nudes leak in July last year, Sheila Gashumba said she hasn’t spoken with her father since then.
When she was hosted on episode 90 of ‘In my opinion podcast’, Sheila said: “We haven’t spoken since July, you know the whole nude saga.”
“Why would he be angry at me? I didn’t wake up in the morning and sent, the person literally went and swapped my sim card. I was in Turkey and my sim card went off, completely off. so, I’m thinking maybe because I am by the water, I had all my notifications off, I didn’t even get an alarm that my sim card had been swapped.”
“What the person did is, he went on snapchat and said they forgot the password, they sent him the code and they just entered my snap.”
Sheila Gashumba who had been with her boyfriend Rickman Manrick in Turkey before he went to the USA, says they had taken the videos before while on vacation.
“They even tried to enter my twitter, Thank God it was an email verification, Instagram too, it was only snapchat. Next minute they were leaked, and they didn’t even ask for money.”
“I emailed snapchat and told them I was hacked and they closed access to him. Imagine if he had gone down in my phone, my gallery, 2018 when I was with my ex. Of course there is still not so much, but!!” Sheila added.
After checking because the transfer she was expecting couldn’t go through, Sheila then noticed her sim card was swapped and reported it to the Ugandan Police directly.
“Your parents will try to be there for you, and in one minute they’ve gone completely mad, at that time someone commit suicide.”, Sheila said calling upon parents to be there for their kids when they are struggling.
Sheila has had worse fallouts with her father, like one they spent four years without talking, and found their way back again.
