Two months after DONALD TRUMP, who is campaigning to become the president of the United States again, survived an assassination attempt during a campaign event, another assailant recently tried to attack him at his home in Florida. Fortunately, divine intervention and swift action from law enforcement prevented any harm.
This second incident occurred at Trump’s Florida residence, where a criminal attempted to take his life. However, authorities intervened in time, ensuring the former president’s safety.
Kamala Harris, Trump’s competitor in the race for the presidency, expressed her sympathy on her social media account (formerly known as Twitter, now X). She stated, “I am deeply disturbed by the possible assassination attempt of former President Trump today. As we gather the facts, I will be clear: I condemn political violence. We all must do our part to ensure that this incident does not lead to more violence. I am thankful that former President Trump is safe. I commend the U.S. Secret Service and law enforcement partners for their vigilance. As President Biden said, our Administration will ensure the Secret Service has every resource, capability, and protective measure necessary to carry out its critical mission.”
