Kai Cenat’s Record-Breaking Mafiathon 2: A Month of Unprecedented Twitch Streaming

In a spectacular display of streaming prowess, Kai Cenat captivated audiences worldwide with his month-long Twitch subathon, Mafiathon 2, which broke records and set new benchmarks for the platform.

Streaming from his luxurious $55 million mansion in Los Angeles, California, Cenat not only entertained viewers with diverse content but also shattered Twitch’s subscription record, surpassing 500,000 active subscribers.

Starting on November 1, 2024, Cenat’s Mafiathon 2 featured a plethora of engaging activities, including gaming challenges and surprise guest appearances.

Celebrities such as Lil Uzi Vert, Miranda Cosgrove, Snoop Dogg, Quavo, GloRilla, members of the cast from the Disney Channel sitcom Good Luck Charlie, Kodak Black, Denzel Curry, Serena Williams, Marshmello, the Jabbawockeez, Soulja Boy, Bill Nye, Andre Iguodala, Lil Dicky, Ibai Llanos, Benny Blanco, Chris Brown, Lizzo, SZA, Ludwig Ahgren, Lil Yachty, Travis Barker, Mark Rober, Sexyy Red, Druski, Kevin Hart, Kyrie Irving, and Ironmouse graced the stream with their presence.

In a heartwarming gesture, Cenat pledged 20% of the proceeds from subscriptions towards building a school in Nigeria, showcasing his commitment to giving back to the community. This noble cause resonated with viewers, further boosting the subathon’s popularity.

On November 11, Cenat reclaimed the title of the most-subscribed Twitch streamer with 337,000 subscribers. By the end of the month, he had doubled the previous record held by Ironmouse, ending Mafiathon 2 with an astounding 728,535 subscribers.

However, the event was not without controversy. On November 26, Cenat faced backlash after magician Max Major staged a hanging stunt on the stream, which Cenat claimed was not as agreed upon. Cenat banned future magician acts from his streams in response.

As Mafiathon 2 came to a close on November 30, Cenat became emotional, expressing gratitude to his supporters and reflecting on the journey. He ended the stream with a heartfelt message, thanking his viewers and promising to return with more exciting content.

Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 2 has cemented his status as one of the most influential creators on Twitch.
