President Kagame Promotes 650 Soldiers in the Rwanda Defence Force, Including 2 New Brigadier Generals.

President Paul Kagame, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Rwanda Defence Force, has promoted 650 soldiers to various ranks.

Among them, two officers who previously held the rank of Colonel were promoted to Brigadier General.

The other promotions are as follows:

14 officers who held the rank of Lieutenant Colonel were promoted to Colonel.

   30 officers who held the rank of Major were promoted to Lieutenant Colonel.

280 officers who held the rank of Captain were promoted to Major.

40 officers who held the rank of Lieutenant were promoted to Captain.

270 officers who held the rank of Sous Lieutenant were promoted to Lieutenant.
