Pursuant to the constitution of the Republic of Rwanda, especially its articles 116 and 112, his excellency the president of the republic has made the following appointments:
Mr. Joseph Nsengimana has been appointed as the new Minister of Education. Previously, he served as the Director at the Mastercard Foundation Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning. He replaces Mr. Gaspard Twagirayezu, who has been appointed CEO of the Rwanda Space Agency.
Additionally, Ms. Nelly Mukazayire has been appointed Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Sports. She was formerly the Deputy CEO at the Rwanda Development Board (RDB).
