Senatorial Elections Conclude in Rwanda with 97% Voter Turnout; Results Announced

On Monday, September 16, 2024, Senatorial elections were held nationwide for 12 senators elected by specific governing bodies in the provinces and the City of Kigali, with a voter turnout of 97.02%.

The vote counting process began at 1:00 PM (13:00), followed by the consolidation of the votes.
